Is there an age limit on having a party at Kids World?

Kids World does not have an age limit as far as buying a party package. All ages are welcome.

How much does a party cost?

We have several party packages, please refer to our Birthday Party Page.

Are you open to the public during a Party?

Yes, we are open to the public all day. But, every party has designated table or private party room reserved just for your guests. Our play area is extremely large and can accommodate hundreds of quests. Although your guests will play with other people, there is plenty of space for everyone.

We also offer after-hours party and facility buyout, please contact our staff member for details.

Do we need to know which party package we want to hold a date?

Yes, because we offer different packages with and without private room option.

What is required to hold a party date?

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking which we can be made in person, online or over the phone. Prices subject to tax.

What if I have more than one child celebrating a birthday?

Kids World parties are able to accommodate more than one birthday child in the same birthday party. You will be charged the regular Party Package price plus $4.99 for the additional birthday child to also receive free birthday party pass and glow button.

Do you allow joint birthday celebrations other than siblings?

Yes, Kids World allows joint birthday parties excluding siblings for a fee of $150.00

Do you have a special party package for younger kids?

Kids World’s party packages are designed to be fun for kids 1+.

Do you have a toddler area?

Yes, we have a designated area for our guests ages 3 and under.

What is the maximum number of kids allowed at the party?

Our Private party rooms can comfortably accommodate 40 kids; café tables have a larger seating capacity.

At what age do you consider children as guests?

We start counting children as guests at 13 months.

What is the maximum number of adults allowed at the party?

We don’t have a formal maximum but a suggested no more than 40 adults for one party.

What happens if my guest count changes?

We cannot guarantee that we can increase your seating once a reservation has been made. Therefore, if you think more guests will attend please notify us in advance of a new attendance number and we will do our best to accommodate. Additionally, we charge for the number of children booked. If not all the children attend the party, we will charge minimum of 15 children (For example, if you reserved for 17 and only 14 show up you would be charged for 15).

How do I change the time and/or date of the party?

Please call Kids World at 818-338-8888 to make the appropriate changes or e-mail us at kidsworldla@yahoo.com. Date and time changes are subject to availability.

Can we change our date or cancel our party once we put down our deposit and get credit towards a future party or visits?

We require a minimum 30 day advance notice in changing dates. We do not offer refunds if  you cancel the party. Please note that Kids World reserves the right to cancel your party if management deems it necessary.

I don’t want to book a party, but I want to bring in a group of kids to play. Is this allowed?

Yes, however, outside food & cakes are not permitted. Cakes are only permitted for booked parties.

What is the duration of the party?

All of our Birthday Party packages are based on two hours.

Can we extend our party time to 3 hours?

Yes, if your party is held in a private room the cost of extra hour is $100. If the party is held at specially designated café tables the cost of extra hour is $50. However, we cannot guarantee extra time availability if the request is not made in advance.

What if I want to stay longer than two hours without purchase of additional private room or table?

Past two hours, you and your guests may stay in the facility and use all of the attractions.

What is in the goody bags?

Kids World goody bags include a variety of toys and treats that kids of all ages will love.

What will the table setup include?

Along with all the items listed in your package, we will provide table cloth, pizza plates, dessert plates, forks, spoons and napkins.

Does Kids World allow outside food?

Currently outside food is allowed for reserved birthday parties only. Please note that we are a nut free facility and brought in food can’t be homemade.

What items can I bring to a party?

Balloons, decorations and party favors. Please note that all the balloons need to be weighted down as our ceilings are so high we cannot get them down if they get loose.

Do you offer balloons?

No, we do not offer balloons.

What items am I NOT allowed to bring to a party?

Piñatas, outside entertainment without prior arrangement, silly string, alcohol.

What time should I arrive for my party?

We suggest you arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your party time. If at this time your room is available you will be allowed to enter your party room early.

Do I have to fill out a waiver?

Yes, a parent or guardian must complete a release & waiver prior to entering the play area. This is required to participate at Kids World. There will be no exceptions. *Click here for a copy of the waiver.

Do adults/kids need socks even if they aren’t going to be on the play equipment?

Yes, all adults and kids are required to wear socks to enter the play area.

When will I be charged for the balance of my child’s party?

Payment is due in full at the conclusion of your event. Any last minute add-ons will be charged the day of your event. We accept cash, major credit cards and checks.

Is gratuity included in the package price?

No.

What is the typical gratuity the assistants receive?

Most often they receive 15 – 20% of the package price, but that amount is completely at your discretion.

Can we come by and take a tour of the facility and do we need to make an appointment?

You may come by and take a tour of the facility Monday through Friday and no appointment is necessary.
